It’s Time to Stop Guessing Why Pipeline Stalls.
Start with a Revenue Engine Assessment.
Benchmark your revenue engine across six dimensions, quantify what the gaps cost you, and get the system design that fixes them.
Most CRM implementations don’t move the revenue needle.
They automate broken processes, configure platforms without strategy, and hand off control with no accountability for outcomes. Here is what that actually costs you and where we start instead.

The Coffee + Dunn Solution
VP Sales | RevOps | Sales Leadership
Problem
The forecast slips, and nobody can point to where.
Stage 3 means something different to every rep. Handoffs leak between marketing and sales. The real pipeline lives in a spreadsheet, and the number you present to the board is a negotiation, not a measurement.
Cost of Inaction
You’ve tried to fix it before. New tools, new processes, new promises. But without a clear picture of where revenue is actually leaking, every initiative is a guess.
The result is compounding cost—more tools, more complexity, longer cycles, and less to show for it every quarter.
→ Sales cycles run 15–30% longer than they need to
Solution
Start with a Revenue Engine Diagnostic. We assess where growth is leaking, what it’s costing you, and which moves will have the most impact—fast.
Six dimensions. One scorecard. A clear, executive-ready roadmap that tells you exactly what to fix, in what order, and why it matters.

What if your Microsoft stack ran like an engine, not a database?
An engine is designed for a job, runs continuously, is measured, and gets better over time.
Project Thinking
- No clear strategy before implementation
- Low user adoption after go-live
- Siloed sales, marketing, and service teams
- A previous implementation that did not land
- Underused features despite the investment
Operating System Thinking
- Time, budget, and a platform that does not fit the way you work
- A six-figure investment your team quietly avoids
- Missed opportunities and inconsistent customer experiences
- Eroded confidence and pressure to start over
- ROI that never materializes
Where is your Revenue Engine leaking?
Six dimensions assess the health of any revenue engine, and they stay the same lens across the whole lifecycle. Each is scored 0–5 against your data and benchmarked against companies your size. Here’s the tell for each — you’ll probably recognize a few.
1: Data + Signal Quality
THE TELL
Two reports, two numbers, and a meeting to decide which one is real.
2: Demand Architecture
Two reports, two numbers, and a meeting to decide which one is real.
THE TELL
Marketing hits its MQL target and sales says the leads are junk. Both are right.
3: Pipeline Mechanics
THE TELL
Stage 3 means something different to every rep on the team.
4: Sales + Marketing Alignment
THE TELL
The handoff is a calendar invite and a hope.
5: Technology Configuration
THE TELL
Your best reps run their real pipeline in a spreadsheet.
6: Measurement + Feedback
THE TELL
You find out the quarter missed in the QBR.
We don’t run projects. We install an operating system.
The Assessment is stage one of a five-stage lifecycle that repeats and compounds. You can stop after the readout—most clients don’t, because the blueprint already scopes what comes next.

Optimization Review
Six deliverables. One engagement. No gap between the diagnosis and the design.
Health is quantified, not asserted, and the case is built from your own data. The scores drive the blueprint that scopes the build, so there is no re-sell in between.
01
Six-Dimensions Scorecard
A 0–5 maturity score per dimension, weighted to your revenue model and benchmarked against comparable mid-market companies.
02
Revenue Leak Map
Where growth is leaking, what each leak costs you in dollars, and which fixes carry the most recoverable value first.
03
Technical Assessment
What your Dynamics 365 and Power Platform estate actually supports today, the configuration debt in it, and the gap to the target design.
04
Agentic AI Opportunity Map
Which revenue agents from our pre-built library pay back first—SDR follow-up, account research, pipeline risk, CRM hygiene—and in what order.
05
Revenue Engine Blueprint
The full system design: revenue data model, pipeline mechanics, journey and routing logic, integrations, and where AI sits. Buildable, not slideware.
06
Business Case + Roadmap
Executive-ready ROI math and a sequenced roadmap that tells you what to fix, in what order, and why it matters—something you can fund.
Two to four weeks from kickoff to a roadmap you can find.
Week 1 • Signal Capture
Working sessions with sales, marketing, and RevOps. Read-only access to Dynamics, your marketing platform, and reporting.
Output: current-state signal inventory
Week 2 • Scoring
Six dimensions scored against your data rather than your opinions. Benchmarks applied. Leaks quantified in dollars.
Output: scorecard + leak map
Week 3 • Design
Target-state engine designed: data model, pipeline mechanics, routing, agent roster, and integration plan.
Output: revenue engine blueprint
Week 4 • Readout
Executive readout with the business case, the sequenced roadmap, and the first 30–60 day value milestone named.
Output: business case + roadmap
Proof before send.
A fixed fee, scoped in one call, against a fixed set of deliverables. Clients typically see 3–5× return on the Assessment investment alone, before a single line of the build is funded.
And it qualifies fit in both directions. If your engine doesn’t need rebuilding, the readout will say so.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Here are answers to common questions regarding our Revenue Engine Assessment.
What exactly is a revenue engine assessment?
It’s a scored diagnostic of the system your revenue actually runs on: data, demand, pipeline, alignment, technology, and measurement. We interview your team, read your environment, and score each of the six dimensions against your own data rather than against a maturity model you can’t verify.
The output isn’t an opinion. It’s a scorecard, a dollar figure attached to each gap, and a system design that closes them.
What's the difference between the Assessment and the Blueprint?
The Assessment tells you where the engine is leaking. The Blueprint tells you what to build instead. We sell and deliver them together, in one engagement, because separating them creates the exact gap most consultancies leave behind—a diagnosis with no design, or a design with nothing behind it.
The scores drive the blueprint directly, so there’s no re-sell and no rediscovery phase.
How much of my team's time does it take?
Roughly six hours total across two to four weeks: a kickoff, a handful of 45-minute working sessions with sales, marketing, RevOps, and IT, plus the executive readout. We also need read-only access to your Dynamics environment and reporting. We do the analysis; your team doesn’t fill out a workbook.
Do we have to be on Dynamics 365?
No. The six-dimension lens is platform-agnostic; we’ve run it against Salesforce, HubSpot, and homegrown stacks. What changes is the target design.
We build on the Microsoft stack, but we integrate the full revenue ecosystem: Gong or Salesloft for conversation intelligence, Adobe or HubSpot for enterprise marketing, ServiceNow or Gainsight for customer success. If Dynamics isn’t the right center of gravity for you, the blueprint will say that.
What does it cost, and what drives the range?
The Assessment + Blueprint starts at a fixed fee of $10,000. Scope drives the rest: assessing one revenue function, say, marketing automation or sales pipeline, sits at the entry point, while the full engine across marketing, sales, and service sits higher.
The number of systems in scope, data volume, and how many business units you run also matter. We scope it in a single 30-minute call.
What happens after the readout, are we committed toa build?
Not at all. You own every deliverable: scorecard, leak map, blueprint, business case, whether you build with us, build in-house, or don’t build at all.
Most clients continue into Activate because the blueprint already scopes the build and names a value milestone in the first 30–60 days. But the Assessment is designed to qualify fit in both directions. If your engine doesn’t need rebuilding, we’d rather tell you in week four than in month nine.
Let’s find out where you’re losing growth.
In two to four weeks you’ll know exactly where revenue is leaking, what it’s costing you, and what to do about it. Most clients say it’s the clearest picture of their business they’ve ever had.
